off the wallstreet vendor suggestion
So you decided to go through all of the paperwork, licensing, hard work and investment to set up your own food cart on Wall Street and now the protest is harshing your gig...
When you set that cart up it was because it answered a need, yes?
It takes too much time to get to a restaurant and if an office worker had to pass by your cart to get to a restaurant, chances are you'd get some of them to stop, and you were right.
Someone down the street offered dill pickle relish and foot longs so you offered them too and threw in a chocolate chip cookie... because competition is driven by the perception of value.

Black Wall Street bans Carter from selling his fragrances after this merchant complained.
Black Wall Street in Stonecrest Ga is supposed to promote Black ownership. Carter is the owner of his own private label fragrance company. Because he was getting more attention with his presentation, this merchant lied to management about what he was doing and without any verification they said he was no longer welcomed at their location. This is total hypocrisy! They claim to promote Black ownership but kick out a 6 year old entrepreneur. This merchant is the one that should be banned not Carter. Once again back stabbing Black folk! Markets change.
Use the same idea you had that led you to believe that the cart was a good idea to adapt and make your business better.
How do you get the people in those buildings what they want?
Can you deliver to the few buildings close to your cart?
Can you make it easy for them to find you to order their food by phone or by email web-form?
Can you hire someone to run orders?
How difficult is it really to put your menu on a webpage?
If you made adaptations to the current market change, would it hurt anything when the protest is finally over and business returns to normal?
Do you want business to return to "normal" if you can find a way to make business better now and later?
You found a need.
You found a way to profit by filling that need.
The need changed.
Find a way to fill that need again and take advantage of the changing market and everybody wins.

In a little over two years this building will go from abandoned bank to residential apartments. "Over time, we are going to put 600 people in the downtown area, which is 600 people who don't live here now. This is the least populated part of the city and we're going to put a lot of people on the street," said Kenneth Olson, CEO of POKO Partners, LLC. City officials and POKO Partners announced the beginning of environmental remediation and demolition of the old Merchant's Bank on Wall Street Wednesday morning. "They are starting the abatement process today as we speak. That will take about 30 days. After the abatement, they need to get the approval from the city and then they will start demolition of what we know as the old merchant's bank," said Mayor Harry Rilling.
"In both buildings there are a lot of partitions, there is carpet. All of that is clean demolition work. They have to pull all that stuff out to get to the asbestos, especially in the bank building. Then down below there are two above ground oil tanks and they need to be removed. There is probably a little bit of oil in those tanks - not much - but they need to be cleaned out and then they can be dismantled and removed," added Olson.
Olson also said the process will be done with containment practices like sealing off the interior with plastic sheeting to minimize risk outside the building. According to Olson, the first phase of the project will cost about 43 million dollars take 30 months to complete Mayor Rilling says redevelopment of the area is part of revitalizing Norwalk. Rilling said "30 months from today, phase 1 which is 101 housing units - 60% market price and 40% affordable housing - which is very important to the City of Norwalk, as well as 16,000 sqft of retail space in this area. It's going to be an amazing project for Norwalk Center."
"This will be a dynamic community and it will change the entirety of the Wall Street area," said Olson.
